Small Water Heater Leak

This small water heater leak caused damage to closet, bedroom, and crawlspace on the South end of the Missoula valley.  SERVPRO of Missoula responded after hours to help mitigate the severity of the damage and dry as much of the structure as possible in place.  We lifted the affected carpet, removed the affected pad, set containment to maximize drying efficiency and placed drying equipment.  Drying equipment and temporary heat were also placed in the unconditioned, affected crawlspace to speed the drying of the subfloor.  Saturated, swelling particle board underlayment was removed and the subfloor was dried and prepped for repair.
